Standard Chartered through its CSR initiative partnered with EduBridge to establish Career Academies offering courses in the BFSI sector to under priviliged youth. The project is part of Standard Chartered Futuremakers portfolio which enables the next generation to learn, earn and grow, tackle inequality and increase economic inclusion for young people through employability. A large number of Youth from the low-income households would get access to very respectable jobs in one of the fastest growing sectors with a huge potential for growth. This would potentially result in transforming the lives of the entire household for generations to come. It will eventually bridge the gap in the supply demand ecosystem by providing skilled and job-ready manpower, thus contributing to making Skill India Mission
