Introduction:

Technology and Education pretty much go hand in glove. EdTech isn’t just a conversation about planning the course pedagogy, either, in fact, it goes well beyond that. It plays a pivotal role in how teachers, administrators, and schools operate. The narrative also involves a student’s overall performance in a digital future.  Information has shown that EdTech or Education Technology is one of the fastest-growing segments in the technology sectors.

EdTech is instrumental and rendering a dynamic transformation through the education sector. The sector is rapidly enhancing a learner’s achievement by providing a host of benefits to learners and professionals, such as minimizing administration time, improving communication, and enabling flexibility in education. This leaves instructors with more time to concentrate on nurturing the learners’ individual development and educational pursuits that would aid in the development of the career path.

How EdTech Enables Flexible Working

As our society’s reliance on technology increases, giving learners and professionals an impetus to  upgrade themselves and align their education to the growing requirements of the industry. Technology can be employed to keep tabs on the beneficiaries’ growth and progress. This data can also be quickly accessed when the beneficiary is applying seeking placement at an enterprise. The repository can give an insight into the minutest detail as deemed by the employee. The constant assessment and testing will ensure that the beneficiary up’s the game, and improves performance at every level, thereby acquiring a better grasp on the subject. Master Trainers will be more focused on the nuances of the course pedagogy. While traditional registration can take an estimated 8 minutes per lesson, a digital app can take just 30 seconds, freeing time for more instructors during the class and taking minimal to no time on administrative duties as technology takes over to look into the same.

  • AR and VR will play a greater role in learning

With the uptick in 5G AR (Augmented Reality), VR (Virtual Reality), and AI (Artificial Intelligence) will take over classrooms by a storm. We are now synergizing technology with course pedagogy, changing the way learners and professionals absorb intrusions. Technology will introduce learners to practical and live case scenarios that will also align the learner to the requirements of the workforce. The implementation of technology in the education segment will revitalize a learners skillset introducing them to analytical, creative, and logical outbursts.

  • Mobile apps will expand learning capabilities

Mobile phones were originally seen as disruptions to learning, but by 2025, more instructors harness the advantages of these apps. We saw a vivid difference in the use of mobile applications by instructors during the course of the pandemic. Educational apps, also known as e-learning apps, can be fun ways to reinforce concepts. This is especially amazing for learners and professionals who can take their lessons while they are on the move.. Problem-solving assignments will enable a better assessment of the beneficiaries. One of the biggest benefits of mobile apps is that they can be accessed anywhere, at any time. This ensures that the learner can always catch up from where they have left, anytime, anywhere.

  • Tech will power support

While learning programming languages like Ruby and Ruby on Rails it becomes quintessential for learners to practice. Even if they are stuck, they can seek aid from support groups that speak across continents. Since these groups have a robust orientation, the learning process is a lot smoother and faster.

  • More tech companies will invest in education

EdTechs have been around for a little over a decade. Almost nearing the next … but it was the pandemic that introduced learners and professionals to the virtues of online learning. There are several learners who were anti the concept of online learning, however, the tables have turned in the favour of incorporating a hybrid learning model, whereby beneficiaries can experience the best of both worlds. EdTechs have made relevant courses more available, at cost-effective prices, whereby beneficiaries can retrieve the cost incurred at the program during the first month itself. After understanding the advantages of the EdTech space, investors eyeballs, are riveted toward a business model that could generate unending dividends in the years to follow. Interestingly EdTech has been well-absorbed by most as an inherent part of the #newnormal.

  • Classroom environments will prioritize EdTech

By 2025 EdTech will be giving impetus to the concept of a ‘Classroom without walls’.  These arrangements will prioritize technology; for instance, whereby learners could be working in groups, rather than being seated in a linear format.

The classroom will also become more flexible, with movable walls and folding furniture that can adapt easily to the lesson. This flexibility will also accommodate virtual reality tools better, as learners who want to stand up and move around during a virtual reality lesson will need to do so in a safe, open space designed to meet that purpose.

Currently, EdTech is facilitating flexible working in education by speeding up communication so it takes minutes rather than days, increasing the amount of information sent home, and making information stored in the institutes MIS is unique to individual learners, so instructors can tailor learning processes. New systems also allow information to be synced easily to the main repository, enabling the workforce to garner that much more access to an advancing talent pool, which at one point in time never existed.
